The organization celebrated achievements such as having mentored 20+ Black-owned organizations and individuals during the last two years. They also hosted Boston-based speakers Charlie Titus and Darrel Byers, who spoke about the impact of ownership on decreasing the racial wealth gap.
“We’ve mentored 20+ Black-owned organizations and individuals over the last two years. We’ll continue mentoring efforts in 2023 but aim to strengthen fundraising efforts this year to create unique programs for members,” said Hamilton Allen, BOM President.
